Racewall Mosquitoes are infested by the radial buzzlings of Matt Morgan and Justin Murray. The feist and bite are intoxicating by most standards of feverish insects, albeit more lowkey than a bullet-ant barrage.

Racewall has just wrapped their sophomore piece of work, "Oi of Day." The EP contains five tracks- Wherefore the Lost Boys, Carson's Pool, Flies in the Furnace, Riverside and Ballad Addictive.

[Quick rundown of facts before we relax - Matt and Kenny Carkeet (AWOL Nation) recorded Wherefore the Lost Boys and Carson's Pool remotely, with Kenny providing all the instrumentation (even Morgan's rhythym and lead compositions). Next, halfway through the EP production Matt asked Justin to be the co-creator of Racewall Mosquitoes, to which Justin replied with an affirmative, thus the band is consolidated with the duo. Justin and Matt go on to record the remaining three songs of Oi of Day, although Kenny continued to be part of the process by caressing Matt's vocals, which are all tracked in Jacksonville at Roy Peak's home studio]

OK where were we...Oh yeah, we were about to talk about Justin... Justin, the technical mansonia, swarms the tracks with melodious hummlings, via lead and rhythym guitar, keys, drums, bass, and vocals. While Matt, on the other hand, keeps it simple with lead vocals and lyric detail... oh yeah and did we mention...he is OCD about harmonies and BGVs ??!

Fun Facts -
An iPhone voice memo of Matt's guitar outtro does appear on Lost Boys

Ballad Addictive is intentionally <very> atonal thanks to Matt's season of John Fruciante obsession, who frequently swam in the atonal, as Niandra LaDes and Usually Just a T-Shirt can attest.
